My "Offline" Haul!

Image
So I have been MIA for quite some time but that does not mean that I have stopped collecting polish along the way. I have gotten quite a few awesome polishes over the past few weeks and wanted to show them to you. Zoya Veruschka, Loredana, Savita, and Sooki I got some of the Zoya Mattes which I am none to impressed with. They are super thin and dry slow! I am wondering if I got dud ones or something. Claire's Gold/Olive and Blue/Purple Magnetic Polishes, Sinful Colors Cinderella, Wet n Wild  On a Trip These polishes I picked up over the last several weeks. I was excited to get my hands on Cinderella although it is in the core display of my Walgreen's selection now. That meaning I have extra and will probably put them on the blog sale within the next coming days. I was also excited to see the new Wet n Wild Megalast polishes and this one stood out to me. China Glaze FYI, 100 Proof Pink, No Way José I got these awesome polishes off of ebay. I had been scouring some of th...

Wet n Wild Week - Tickled Pink

Image
We have finally arrived at the end of Wet n Wild week. This last polish was favorite of mine because I used it in my B-Day mani this past year. Of course I have to show my birthday mani. This was my first attempt at real nail art and it turned out so well. I was one happy birthday girl. Sorry this was such a short post and so late as well but I was up late last night revamping the blog so I was anti-laptop today. I hope you like all the changes I made and I am especially proud of those new social media icons I made that are fashioned after OPI bottles. I will get my Christmas/after X-mas haul up tomorrow. Wet n Wild Week - Hush Hush

Image
Check out my Blog Sale! So I was not sure what to think about this polish when I got it. It looked liked an eggshell white in the bottle so I was nonetheless impressed by it. This was until I put this beauty on my nails. Wet n Wild Hush Hush is a beautiful eggshell white jelly polish. I love the application on this polish because it dries quickly and doesn't drag between coats. This was three coats of Hush Hush and you can still see my nail line a bit. I used this polish over the holidays to create a jelly sandwich using China Glaze Party Hearty. I have another layering combo I would like to use with it if I could get in the winter spirit. I want to used Wet n Wild Hush Hush and the blue glitter OPI from the Muppet's Collection (The name escapes me now!). I think it would be an icy combo - no pun intended. This time last year we had about 3 snowstorms already. This year none. This past weekend highs were in the 70's and while I am not complaining about our rash of good...

Wet n Wild Week - Back Alley Deals

Image
Be sure to check out my Blog Sale! Here is another great Wet n Wild polish that is actually up for grabs in my blog sale. I swatched this polish quite some time ago and I never fell in love with it honestly. It seemed as thought we were over-ran with glitter polishes this past fall and I personally am over it. Although this polish is beautiful I had a few out of the Ice Baby collection that I do happen to love. What were your favorites from this collection? Mine is Diamond In The Rough.

Wet n Wild Week - Dream Poppy

Image
Out of my growing stash I would say pinks is the most reoccurring. I love pink for spring and summer and year round on my toes. It is kind of funny because I would put just about any color on my hands(and I almost have) but I really only put different shades of pink on my toes or a great DIY french mani. You will not catch me with black or blue toes. I always tell my mom it looks like your dead with blue or black toenails. I am divulging too much. You probably think I am nuts now so onto the polish. This is Wet n Wild Dream Poppy. This is a beautiful pinky coral creme polish. I say pinky coral because I have many corals now and some of them are pinky-coral and some are orangey-coral. This was two coats of Dream Poppy with no topcoat because it is shiny on its own! BIG NEWS!! Hopefully later this evening I will have my blog sale up! This is my first blog sale and I am ready to purge some polish. I have around 20 polishes (mostly salon brands!) to sell so check back later! Follow Wet ...

Wet n Wild Week - Disturbia

Image
Disturbia!!!! Okay so all I can think about when I see this polish is the Rihanna song with the same name. It makes me want to break out into song but I do not wish to show off (sarcasm). This was my first experience with the Wet n Wild Megalast line and was anxious to try them out. The bottle are a bit smaller than the usual Wet n Wild but the bottle feels more stable if that makes any sense. The brush on these is surprisingly very nice. Naturally the brush is going to be smaller in a smaller bottle of polish but this one is very easy to use. It is curved on both sides and is semi flat so you know which way to hold it. This was two coats of Disturbia and one coat of Seche. I love the subtle shimmer and the purple is gorgeous. Wet n Wild Week - The Gold & The Beautiful

Image
Wet n Wild Week continues. The polish I am showing you today is The Gold & The Beautiful. This is a perfect gold glitter polish. It is fairly dense as far as glitter goes. This gold polish is a touch lighter than Sinful Colors All About You but they are fairly similar. This is two coats of The Gold & The Beautiful. This polish name is obviously a play on The Bold & The Beautiful soap opera. I personally have never watched that show but I do find myself sucked into some soaps here and there. It is one of my guilty pleasures among many. I have a thing for horrible reality shows as well but that is another day! Wet n Wild Week - Believe Me, It's Real

Image
So enough of being lazy! I am back with Wet n Wild Week. I have so many un-trieds in my stash and the majority of them are Wet n Wilds. Not because I don't like them but because I have so many of them. Now when Wet n Wild announced the Color Icon Ice Baby Collection I was stalking my Walgreen's until I got my hands on them. I had my choice of all the colors but only ended up choosing three. I have to limit myself somewhere. I also would have bought more but for the price I thought they were pretty small. That all being said I love the colors I picked out. This polish is Believe Me, It's Real which is a fine deep blue glitter with small purple glitter mixed in. These are my two favorite colors in one polish so it is a win! This is three coats of Believe Me, It's Real and one coat of Seche. What polishes did you end up picking from this collection?

White Chocolate Holiday Nails

Image
Here is a quick Christmas mani I did this week. I actually got this idea for this jelly sandwich from PolishAholic's Black Friday Mani . I did not have a shimmery white but I had a great white jelly that looked great with it. I used Wet n Wild Hush Hush for my base as well as my jelly topcoat. The glitter I sandwiched in between is China Glaze Party Hearty. I love the look of this mani. It is very festive and reminds me of white chocolate almond bark with sprinkles. Here is a shot of Hush Hush on its own. This is 3 coats of Hush Hush. I like that is not such a stark white. Sometimes those can give you a headache! This polish also dried very quickly as do most of my Wet n Wilds. I have more holiday manis coming up so keep a look out! *Wet n Wild Hush Hush was provided for honest review Follow Wet n Wild on Twitter Follow Wet n Wild on Facebook Visit Wet n Wild Website

Wet n Wild Color Icon Ice Baby Collection - Diamond In The Rough

Image
Good Afternoon Guys! I have a great polish to show to you today, Diamond In The Rough. This polish comes out of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Ice Baby Collection that is exclusive to Walgreen's. I picked this polish up as well as two others that I felt I could not live without. I had been stalking my local Walgreen's in hopes of finding this collection before anyone else did. Well I must say it was a total success because I picked these up on Monday from an untouched display. I would say that I must have started a trend because I went back a day later and there was three polishes left. The whole display was cleared out of my favorites sadly. I wanted to purchase some more for a upcoming give-away but I will stay positive that maybe they will get some more colors before the holiday season. Well on to the beautiful polish. This polish is packed with silver micro glitter and silver round holographic glitter. This polish reminds me a lot of an silver version of OPI Teenage Dream. I als...

13 Days of Halloween Nail Art - Day #7 - Blood Red Feather Mani

Image
I recently got an awesome nail mail package of Wet n Wild Behind Closed Doors from the On The Prowl Collection. I am in a Facebook group called Polishaholics Anonymous and fellow nail addict BeePolished had a few of these for sale and I had to have! This polish is a black jelly(gray) that has red micro glitter as well as red hex glitter. I loved this polish on first sight and was very afraid I would never own it. So thanks Bee! I used a feather from Michael's that came in a mixed colorful bag. I simply cut down the feather to fit my nail and stuck it to a tacky nail. Two coats of top coat and I could no longer feel the feather on my nail. I have so many colored feathers I can't wait to try out some new combos. I tried to conserve on Behind Closed Doors so I layered it over Wet n Wild Black Creme. 13 Days of Halloween Nails - Day #3 - Mummy Nails

Image
Welcome to the third day of 13 Days of Halloween Nail Art! Today I have yet another super easy mani I did. I painted my nails with Wet n Wild Black Creme and used my white striper to make the mummy lines. I had red eyes for all the mummy's but it was not showing up so well so I decided to use some color. I really liked how these guys turned out and it was way more easy than I thought it would be. Sorry for the quick post! Wet n Wild - Under Your Spell

Image
Hello All! I have a vampy polish to show you today. This is Wet n Wild Under Your Spell. This is from the mega-last line. This polish was quite sheer so I paired it with Wet n Wild Black Creme. This would have been a great polish for Halloween considering it's color and the name! This is a great polish for fall however. I love that it's turning colder and I have broken out much more of my darker polish colors. Its kind of like my hair, I always want it lighter in the summer and darker in the winter. Although, I look awful with light hair. This polish as always went on very smoothly and dried fast. What colors are you loving for Fall? Side note as well: Have you made your polish x-mas list and if so what is on the top? Mine is Glitter Gal Lizard Belly. Wet n Wild - Everybody Loves Redmond

Image
I have a quick post for you today. I have Wet n Wild Everybody Loves Redmond. It is a beautiful Red Jelly polish. All the pictures I took made this polish look fake because it is so shiny! I am kind of obsessed with jelly polishes and Wet n Wild has a lot of great options that you do not see with other polish brands. I think this polish is dying to be layered with gorgeous glitter!   I love a good red nail. I always feel so girly and sophisticated when I have a shiny red mani. What do you girls think? Wet n Wild - Club Havana

Image
Today I have a great polish to review! This is Wet n Wild Club Havana. This polish is a orange-y coral creme polish. I applied two coats for full opaque-ness. This polish applied like a dream and I really like the short stubby bottle. I really like the brush on this polish it is shaped for the nail and is slightly curved. This was my first time trying the Wet n Wild megalast line and I have to say I really like it. The name of this polish reminds me of Dirty Dancing Havana Nights the movie. I don't know why, I have never actually seen it.lol I have a couple more polishes from this line to try and one in particular(disturbia) makes me excited. I hope to have that for you next week! Make sure you guys go out and take advantage of the sale that is going on at Walgreen's right now. All of the Wet n Wild products that were $1.99 are currently 99 cents. I have picked up some great makeup and some nail polishes that I did not own from the fast dry line. I love their eyeliners and I...

Wet n Wild - The Wonder Yellows

Image
Today I have just a quick post as I am still visiting with my mom! I have Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows. This polish is pretty fantastic and so is the name! I have seen my fair share of Wonder Years reruns. I always liked that show I wish they still had it on. This yellow polish is so pretty it is a yellow foil polish that has a shine like no other. The glitter in this is very fine and really sparkles in the sun. Something about bright yellow nails that just make you happy! This is two coats of Wet n Wild The Wonder Yellows. There is a slight VNL but I don't mind when the polish is this pretty. I can not wait to use this in a great water marble or splatter mani. **Polish Sent for Review

Wet n Wild - 9.0.2.1. Orange

Image
Hello Everyone! Today I have for you Wet n Wild 9.0.2.1. Orange. This is a beautiful orange jelly polish packed with gold glitter. I do not have very mani orange polishes at all in my personal stash and I don't know why! Everytime I put on a orange polish I fall in love with it. I can say I am in love with this polish right now. I used two coats for the photo above. I love how the light reflects this sparkly polish. Well school started yesterday and I can honestly say I'm ready for the holidays already! I am excited to be leaving for vacation for the weekend. I can't wait to go visit my parents it's been forever since I have seen my mom and I miss her. We are going to shop til we drop so I hope she is ready. My b-day is Thursday and I have no idea what to do with my nails. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Reverse Shatters

Image
Happy Monday Everyone! Today I have a manicure that I had seen on another blog. I say another blog because I can not for the life of me find the mani anywhere. I forgot who posted it but I had to try it out myself. Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery ya know! :) I started off by polishing every other finger with Finger Paints Tiffany Imposter. I then used Wet n Wild Silvivor on the other nails.  On the nails I painted with Tiffany Imposter I used OPI Silver Shatter on them. Then on the nails I painted with Silvivor I used CG Crushed Candy Crackle. I had several people at work that asked me about my nails. They couldn't quite figure it out. I then had to explain which only complicated things further. I have had this in my head for the longest time since seeing it on "someones" blog. It was a super quick mani and I really liked how it turned out. Edited to add: Thank you Paint That Nail that jump started my memory back and let me know that Kellie From Also ...

Wet n Wild - Buffy The Violet Slayer

Image
Let me start off by saying I love this color. My camera on the other hand did not like this polish. I took a good 30-50 photos of this one. I lost count obviously. This is the closest I could come to the color. All the photos wanted to turn blue. You can tell in the pic below my pinky finger is slightly blue. I love this color it a gorgeous purple. Almost the same color of my old Ipod Nano. This polish applies beautifully. You can get away with one coat and it dries very quickly. The polish has a thicker consistency than most of the Wet n Wild polishes I have used which is great! It dries to a semi gloss. A top coat would make this pop! Polish sent for review.

Tape Mani - Lightning Bolts

Image
This is my second tape mani that I have attempted and I'm super happy how it turned out! The tutorial I used for this mani is from Nailside , she is a tape master! Visit her site for this mani and much more! For this mani I used Wet n Wild Black Creme as a base and I used Wet n Wild Silvivor for the tips as well as Buffy the Violet Slayer. Buffy the Violet Slayer is too beautiful for my camera but you can see a true color swatch here .  I had used scotch tape for my first tape mani, but went to grab the roll and saw it was empty. Plan B was set in motion and I grabbed the duct tape and hoped it would turn out, and it did! I also liked the duct tape because I have deep ridges along the sides of my nails and the duct tape is pliable enough to stay put there. I decided on an accent nail with the double lighting bolt and I love it.  Have you guys tried a tape mani yet?
