My "Offline" Haul!

Image
So I have been MIA for quite some time but that does not mean that I have stopped collecting polish along the way. I have gotten quite a few awesome polishes over the past few weeks and wanted to show them to you. Zoya Veruschka, Loredana, Savita, and Sooki I got some of the Zoya Mattes which I am none to impressed with. They are super thin and dry slow! I am wondering if I got dud ones or something. Claire's Gold/Olive and Blue/Purple Magnetic Polishes, Sinful Colors Cinderella, Wet n Wild  On a Trip These polishes I picked up over the last several weeks. I was excited to get my hands on Cinderella although it is in the core display of my Walgreen's selection now. That meaning I have extra and will probably put them on the blog sale within the next coming days. I was also excited to see the new Wet n Wild Megalast polishes and this one stood out to me. China Glaze FYI, 100 Proof Pink, No Way José I got these awesome polishes off of ebay. I had been scouring some of th...

China Glaze - Let's Do It In 3D

Image
I'm Baaaack!!! So I finally got my computer issues resolved. I had so many photos on my old computer that I tried to back up but I don't think it's going to happen. Oh well, I guess that means more swatching for me! This polish I have to show you today is China Glaze Let's Do It In 3D. This polish exists no longer on store shelves but I was able to pick up a bottle from a girl in a Facebook polish group I am in. I was quite excited to have another holo to add to my collection but I must admit I was worried when I received it because it does not look very holo in the bottle at all. My worry was turn to glee when I put it on the nail. After it was dry it was very holo! I have also got some pretty cool polishes since I have been offline so I think a haul post is in order. I will have that for you guys tomorrow. Until then have a great weekend!

White Chocolate Holiday Nails

Image
Here is a quick Christmas mani I did this week. I actually got this idea for this jelly sandwich from PolishAholic's Black Friday Mani . I did not have a shimmery white but I had a great white jelly that looked great with it. I used Wet n Wild Hush Hush for my base as well as my jelly topcoat. The glitter I sandwiched in between is China Glaze Party Hearty. I love the look of this mani. It is very festive and reminds me of white chocolate almond bark with sprinkles. Here is a shot of Hush Hush on its own. This is 3 coats of Hush Hush. I like that is not such a stark white. Sometimes those can give you a headache! This polish also dried very quickly as do most of my Wet n Wilds. I have more holiday manis coming up so keep a look out! *Wet n Wild Hush Hush was provided for honest review Follow Wet n Wild on Twitter Follow Wet n Wild on Facebook Visit Wet n Wild Website

OMG...I'm Gettin' Miss Piggy with it, with the Fresh Frog of Bel Air

Image
I'm Baaaack!!!! I am happy to say that school is over and I am back to blogging! I have missed you all so much and I am getting really excited for Christmas. My whole wish list for x-mas was mostly polish with a few other items sprinkled in. I have not had alot of time for manis but I have a x-mas themed one to show you. I used a base of China Glaze OMG and alternated OPI Getting Miss Piggy With It and Fresh Frog of Bel Air. I really love this combo and I wish they made Christmas ornaments that looked like these! I will have much more Christmas manis over the next week. I placed an order with Dollish Polish for the Limited Edition A Christmas Story Glitter Trio's. I have been stalking the mail man waiting for them to arrive. I will post pics as soon as I get them in. I am hoping tomorrow!

China Glaze - OMG

Image
Why hello my lovely readers! I have missed you guys. Sorry I have not posted in a long time but school is kicking my butt this semester. I have had massive amounts of homework and extra time spent after work is with my bf or doing more homework. I have been painting my nails though. I have also been taking pictures and have them uploaded to the computer but that was as far as they made it. Until today anyways. I will try to have some more posts this week as I am slowly getting back into a schedule. I have another beauty for you today, China Glaze OMG. This was another one of my swap polishes from Gia from Bottles and Bottles of Polish. I freaking love this polish so much and like the other holo I was gifted(2NITE), I felt like it was a sin to take it off. I like the look of the linear holo but the scattered effect of the DS polishes are quite gorgeous as well. I have OPI DS Designer that I still have yet to show you guys and I will swatch that soon. It is a beautiful nude holo and if...

China Glaza - 2NITE

Image
So I recently just received my first holos in a swap with Gia from Bottles and Bottles of Polish . I was totally not worthy of them but I am so happy I have them! I got OMG and 2NITE in the swap and could not wait to use 2NITE. Blue is my favorite color and a blue holo is just amazing! (Sun) (Sun) (Flash) I also got a new camera for my bday so I am playing around with it a bunch. I will be sad to take this polish off. It almost feels like a sin to even take it off. I want to thank Gia again because without her gifting these to me I would have never had the chance myself to get these. On another note my nails are getting really long. Well for me this is super long. I am usually a nubbins kind of gal but mine have not broke off yet and they are staying strong. I also got my first cuticle remover, CND Cuticle Away, and I love it! I have never used a cuticle remover before and I think I am a tad addicted now! Well back to school work. I would much rather blog........

Reverse Shatters

Image
Happy Monday Everyone! Today I have a manicure that I had seen on another blog. I say another blog because I can not for the life of me find the mani anywhere. I forgot who posted it but I had to try it out myself. Imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery ya know! :) I started off by polishing every other finger with Finger Paints Tiffany Imposter. I then used Wet n Wild Silvivor on the other nails.  On the nails I painted with Tiffany Imposter I used OPI Silver Shatter on them. Then on the nails I painted with Silvivor I used CG Crushed Candy Crackle. I had several people at work that asked me about my nails. They couldn't quite figure it out. I then had to explain which only complicated things further. I have had this in my head for the longest time since seeing it on "someones" blog. It was a super quick mani and I really liked how it turned out. Edited to add: Thank you Paint That Nail that jump started my memory back and let me know that Kellie From Also ...

Faux Water Marble Second Attempt

Image
So this is my second attempt at the faux marble. I have heard this technique called faux water marble as well as tie-dye nails. The best way to explain it is to watch it so head on over to Dollface22772 YOU TUBE Channel and see for yourself. The polishes I used for mine was China Glaze Platinum Silver, OPI That's Berry Darling, Wet n Wild Dream Poppy and Blazed. My mistake has been that I am using a toothpick when I should be using a needle or straight pin. I will be trying this again for sure! It's so easy I hope to master it soon. Do you guys water-marble? Does this look like a way faster process to you with similar results?

Water Marble Virgin No More!

Image
So I got inspired by my last post and decided to try the marble nails for myself. First off let me say that I love the results but I got extremely frustrated at times because the polish would not do as I wanted to. I started with a fully opaque white for the base of the water marble. I wanted to go with neon colors because I was feeling extra summer-y. I went with my China Glaze Shocking Pink (Sally's), Sally Hansen Blue Me Away! (Wal-Mart), and Pure Ice Wild Thing (Wal-Mart). My first couple nails went pretty well and I even got the flower that you see on the first picture but that is where the fun ended. First it started by getting polish on my forehead because I was trying to do too much at once. I also at one point dropped the whole entire neon pink brush into the water with other paints in there. That was a huge mess but I must say in my defense holding the brush with scotch tape fingers is not that easy. I was so lucky to have my boyfriend at home with me because h...

OPI Black Shatter and China Glaze Golden Enchantment

Image
I have never layered over my shatters but decided sparkles would be perfect. I started with two coats of OPI Glitzerland. I applied a coat of China Glaze Golden Enchantment. I then used my OPI Black Shatter. I finished the look off with another coat of Golden Enchantment. I always use two top coats with my shatters to give them a more smooth look. What colors are you trying with your shatter!

Mani Minute: Crushed Candy Crackle over Shocking Pink(Neon) By China Glaza

Image
I wanted to try the new Cotton Candy Crackly Glaze by China Glaze that my mom got me but was stumped as to what color to pair it with. I thought that the neon could be tamed down a bit by the Crackle. It's very 80's. The pictures do no justice my boyfriend said they they were like optical illusions because they were so bright. Definitely will be doing this Mani this summer!
