Happy Friday All! Today I have for you as promised my second full-on attempt of a water marble. If you follow me on Twitter I gave a sneak peak of this last night. I was so excited to show it off. I have been wanting to try this again since my first time I attempted it. The first time I water marbled it was a disaster. They did not turn out the way I wanted and it literally took me 3 hours to do both hands. It was exhausting to say the least and I was a tad bit apprehensive to try it again. Boy am I glad I DID! Look how freaking cool this turned out. Had to showcase the thumb! L-R Sally Hansen Blue Me Away, Wet Concrete, Mellow Yellow. I used a base of Wet n Wild White Creme under the water marble. I used all Sally Hansen polishes for my water marble. I love this color scheme. My sister told me it looked very 70's. I agree! Many water marble tutorials out there tell you to use room temperature water. I tried that and I could not get the polishes to spread out. I...
Happy Friday! Well I don't know about you but I wish I was on a beach somewhere. Instead I'm having to settle for nail art sunsets. I have to say this was quite easy to do, but I will say I am only showing you my left hand for a reason. My Thumb = My favorite! I got my inspiration from IartKandi's YouTube video. Click the link to watch her video. Her tutorial is great and she taught me everything I know. This is the fist time I attempted sponging let along using a stripe brush to make a object. I mean stripes I have done but palm trees, definitely not. It went better than expected and I love the results. L-R Glitzerland, Y'all Come Back Ya Hear?, Blazed, Dream Poppy, Black Striper, Makeup Sponge I laid down two coats of Glitzerland to make my nail opaque. I then put one coat of Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? over my whole nail. Next came the sponging which was quite fun. I sponged on Blazed first which is a coral so it blended the orange and the pink togeth...
Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope you guys are having a great weekend. I just got off work early so my weekend just got better!Today I have for you another couple Wet n Wild polishes. I made my jelly sandwich from Wet n Wild FuchsiaRama and Party of Five Glitters. I have used Party of Five Glitters for this type of mani before because it pops under the coat of jelly polish. I really like the look of layering the glitter under a coat of the thin color because it gives it a bit of sophistication. Or at least that is what I tell myself. Fuchsia Rama can be layered to be opaque it just takes 3 to 4 coats. I used two coats of Party of Five Glitters and one thin layer of FuchsiaRama over it. Confession time: I am really not supposed to be wearing polish where I work. I work for like a sub-company within that company and we don't really adhere to all their rules. If we did my boss would be out of luck because her nails are insane! But anyways, I still don't like to draw that much...
