The Polish Diary

I have seen a lot of people layering OPI Rainbow Connection over silver. I really liked the way it looked but wanted to kick it up a notch. I used China Glaze OMG as a base for my multicolored sparkles. Rainbow Connection did not dull the holo at all. I wanted to get better holo photos but the weather has not been cooperating with my mani schedule. I have to say that I am getting sick of glitter polishes. I think every single holiday collection is a miz of glitter or just glitter alone. I am sick of removing glitter! I use the foil method but I am so impatient. Sorry for such a quick post today!

I finally got my Zoyas that I had ordered when they had the Halloween treat! I got Neeka and Jem from the sale and my standout favorite is Neeka. It is the purple best friend of Yara , which I absolutely adore. I have to say I am in love with the brush on the Zoya polishes. It is small and I can bump it up closer to my nail bed than most other polishes. I wore this polish longer than normal because I really loved how it looked on my nails. The golden/green shimmer is so gorgeous and so is the dusty purple base. Here's a close-up of the shimmer I had a hard time picking what two colors I wanted to get. I need some more Zoyas in my life. What are your favorite Zoya Polishes?

Hi guys! I have been a little MIA the past week. I have been trying to catch up on some homework and getting things ready for the end of the semester. I can not wait for this semester to be over. It is truly kicking my butt and my GPA is slowly declining. Well enough about school and on to my first duo chrome polish! This is Hard Candy Beetle. This is also my first Hard Candy Polish, I have been lemming this one for awhile and could never seem to find it. I found this one by chance it was sitting in the display for Wet n Wild Polishes. I thought it was a sign that I should have it and quickly put it in the cart. I have had this polish on for 2 days now and I can not quit looking at my nails. I layered two coats of Beetle over WnW Black Creme. This pic was taken without flash because it was the only way I could capture the duo chrome. As you can tell this polish flashes so many colors. Good Afternoon Guys! I have a great polish to show to you today, Diamond In The Rough. This polish comes out of the Wet n Wild Color Icon Ice Baby Collection that is exclusive to Walgreen's. I picked this polish up as well as two others that I felt I could not live without. I had been stalking my local Walgreen's in hopes of finding this collection before anyone else did. Well I must say it was a total success because I picked these up on Monday from an untouched display. I would say that I must have started a trend because I went back a day later and there was three polishes left. The whole display was cleared out of my favorites sadly. I wanted to purchase some more for a upcoming give-away but I will stay positive that maybe they will get some more colors before the holiday season. Well on to the beautiful polish.
