Hello Everyone! If you could take the time to vote for my Drippy Mani for the Styled On Hard as Nails DIY competition on facebook it would make me so happy.
Happy Friday All! Today I have for you as promised my second full-on attempt of a water marble. If you follow me on Twitter I gave a sneak peak of this last night. I was so excited to show it off. I have been wanting to try this again since my first time I attempted it. The first time I water marbled it was a disaster. They did not turn out the way I wanted and it literally took me 3 hours to do both hands. It was exhausting to say the least and I was a tad bit apprehensive to try it again. Boy am I glad I DID! Look how freaking cool this turned out. Had to showcase the thumb! L-R Sally Hansen Blue Me Away, Wet Concrete, Mellow Yellow. I used a base of Wet n Wild White Creme under the water marble. I used all Sally Hansen polishes for my water marble. I love this color scheme. My sister told me it looked very 70's. I agree! Many water marble tutorials out there tell you to use room temperature water. I tried that and I could not get the polishes to spread out. I finally u
Happy Friday! Well I don't know about you but I wish I was on a beach somewhere. Instead I'm having to settle for nail art sunsets. I have to say this was quite easy to do, but I will say I am only showing you my left hand for a reason. My Thumb = My favorite! I got my inspiration from IartKandi's YouTube video. Click the link to watch her video. Her tutorial is great and she taught me everything I know. This is the fist time I attempted sponging let along using a stripe brush to make a object. I mean stripes I have done but palm trees, definitely not. It went better than expected and I love the results. L-R Glitzerland, Y'all Come Back Ya Hear?, Blazed, Dream Poppy, Black Striper, Makeup Sponge I laid down two coats of Glitzerland to make my nail opaque. I then put one coat of Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? over my whole nail. Next came the sponging which was quite fun. I sponged on Blazed first which is a coral so it blended the orange and the pink togeth
Hi guys! Long time no post. Been busy as usual but I had to show you some manis that I have backlogged before I begin 13 Days of Halloween Nail Art. I will start this series on October 18th and it will run through Halloween. I have started on some cool manis for Halloween but I broke a nail really far down so I am having to rethink some now. Now today I have a great feather mani to show you. Now I must admit I did not get on the bandwagon of the feather craze. Now I have seen quite a few feather manis floating around but I did not want brown feathers on my nail. Thought it looked kinda gross. I found a great bag of assorted feathers at Michael's for $2.99. It is a great collection of green, blue, purple, red, fuchsia feathers. The feather I chose for this mani was black and purple. I chose to pair my feather mani with OPI Planks A Lot. Now I must tell you that I could not get an accurate color on this one. This polish is darker in real life. I just could not get that to translate
This looks really good. I love the colors you choose.
