So awhile back I won a great giveaway from VEROblog and the prize was a $20 Apothica  gift card. I knew immediately that I would be purchasing another Deborah Lippmann polish to add to my collection. Last time I bought a Lippmann it was a toss up between Lady Sings the Blues and Across the Universe. Lady Sings the Blues eventually won out but I knew I had to get my hands on Across the Universe. So obviously that is what I picked up with my gift card. To my surprise thought I had a little left on another gift card so I decided to try out some Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream that so many rave about. Across the Universe is so beautiful in real life. My camera just could not capture all the beautiful green and blue glitter suspended in a navy blue jelly polish. Hi Guys! I got the Photoshop itch a couple days back and I have totally overhauled the blog. I hope you guys like it because I DO! Today I have a review for a polish I received from Everbella . This is X&D Red Shatter . This shatter has a very matte finish so for the photo below I am wearing top coat. I actually attempted to do a reverse shatter like I have in the past. The colors were not as close as I thought so it turned out a little different than I had imagined.  For the reverse shatter I alternated Zoya Sooki and OPI Glitzerland. I then reversed X&D Red Shatter and Color Club Gold Shatter. I love the look of reversed shatters. I plan on trying this with a different combo next time. Maybe black and red perhaps?..... I am back!! Sorry last week was spring break and I seriously took the week off from my laptop. That meant not posting but I have some awesome mani's to show you. I also have bought some super awesome polishes that I can not wait to show you. Well on to what I have for you today. I have seen this mani floating around the Internet as well as Pinterest. It is a half moon mani with flakies. As if the half moon mani wasn't cool enough let's throw flakies into the mix! Yes, Please! Pretty awesome right?! This is Wet n Wild Black Creme with Finger Paints Special Effects Twisted. I will try and post more later on tonight or tomorrow. Hi Guys! Sorry for lack there of posts. I have been busy as I am back to work now and have school as well. I work in a tourist town so I get laid off in the off season and the people are starting to flood back in to town. The tornado we had last week has thrown a small kink in some businesses but for the most part we are back in the swing of things just in time for Spring Break! I have been lacking on my manicures as well as my pedicures. I have no polish on my toes right now which for me is soooo weird! I always have paint on my toes but I just didn't feel like it the other night. Any who I do have a new polish to show to you today. Glitter Gal Lizard Belly is a polish that sells on Llarowe and maybe Polish Ninja yet although I have yet to look at their Glitter Gal section to see if this beauty is in there. Lizard Belly is a dark green polish that is loaded with holo gorgeousness. I have wore this polish once before and I love it more and more every time I wear it. I cut my nails...

This is a short post today but I wanted to show you my mani I did with dotting tools the other day. I used this tutorial to achieve this mani! I recommend you check out her tutorial for everything you need to know about this. I used my dotting tools that I received from EverBella . I would call this a puzzle mani but I have a more literal version of that planned for later this week! Remember that you can still use this great coupon to get some great goodies from EverBella ! Hi Guys! I have another Claire's Magnetic polish to show you today. I got this polish along with the Gold/Olive Magnetic a couple weeks ago and I have actually worn this polish quite a few times since then. This polish has the same wonky brush as the other one but I still love it. The magnet on this one is much like my Nails Inc. Trafalgar Square wavy magnet. The Claires's magnet polishes retail for $8.50 but they are usually BOGO 1/2 off. I am currently working on another dotting tool mani. If all goes well I will get that up tomorrow.

Today I have something cool to show you. I received some dotting tools from Everbella to review on my blog and I was so excited to use them. I have seen many other people online with the most fantastic dotted manis and I really wanted to try them out. Of course I had to have the boyfriend help me out when it came to the colors. This is what we ended up with! Now the base color I chose is my own franken I made just for this manicure. I only seem to have light grays and I wanted a darker gray so that is what I made. I used a quite a few colors for my dots and they are: Sally Hansen - Wet Cement Sinful Colors - Cinderella Sinful Colors- Paradise Pure Ice - French Kiss CND - Midnight Sapphire Wet n Wild - Black Creme The dotting tools were super simple to use. The shipping from Everbella was super quick as well. I have heard a lot of people ordering their dotting tools from Ebay and they take like 1-2 months to even get them. I tried my other Claire's magnetic polish out last night and wanted to show you guys the results. First off I have to say that I really like both of the magnetic polishes I got from Claire's. I have already wore the blue/purple one and I loved it although I could not get an accurate color photo of it so I have not got around to posting that one. This polish was also hard to get a color accurate photo of but I finally managed..kinda. This polish tends to be a tad more greener in person. Let's talk about the polish itself for a moment. The polish went on pretty thin on the first coat but the second coat made it all better. Also, both of the magnetic polishes I got from Claire's have the most wonky brushes on them. At first I was like how am I going to polish my nails with these things? To my surprise again they actually made it easier to apply the polish so I can't complain about them anymore. The top cap does pop off of these polishes much like the Nails Inc....

Here is a polish that I showed to you yesterday in my "Offline" Haul. This is Sinful Colors Cinderella. This is a beautiful blue polish that has beautiful glass flecks throughout it. The glass flecks have the same color change as Essie Shine of The Times.  I have to say I love this polish but Sinful Colors formula still irks me. It never seems to dry as fast as I would like it to. I will however give this beauty a second chance. FYI: I found this polish in with all of the other Sinful Colors core polishes if you are looking for it!

So I have been MIA for quite some time but that does not mean that I have stopped collecting polish along the way. I have gotten quite a few awesome polishes over the past few weeks and wanted to show them to you. Zoya Veruschka, Loredana, Savita, and Sooki I got some of the Zoya Mattes which I am none to impressed with. They are super thin and dry slow! I am wondering if I got dud ones or something. I was excited to get my hands on Cinderella although it is in the core display of my Walgreen's selection now. I'm Baaaack!!! So I finally got my computer issues resolved. I had so many photos on my old computer that I tried to back up but I don't think it's going to happen. Oh well, I guess that means more swatching for me! This polish I have to show you today is China Glaze Let's Do It In 3D. This polish exists no longer on store shelves but I was able to pick up a bottle from a girl in a Facebook polish group I am in. I was quite excited to have another holo to add to my collection but I must admit I was worried when I received it because it does not look very holo in the bottle at all. My worry was turn to glee when I put it on the nail. After it was dry it was very holo! I have also got some pretty cool polishes since I have been offline so I think a haul post is in order. I will have that for you guys tomorrow. Until then have a great weekend!

So the lovely Claire did it once again! She got me one of the most beautiful polishes that I would have never been able to get my hands on. I can not thank her enough for sending me lovelies from across the pond! This polish is the elusive Max Factor Fantasy Fire. Fantasy Fire is an indigo jelly polish with the most beautiful color shifting glitter. You will see all the colors this beautiful polish flashes in my photos below. I took a lot of pics because I wanted to try and capture all the color changes. These photos are much different than my norm but you have to hold your hand in weird positions to get the color change effect. I also layered this polish over Revlon Royal which is not a flash friendly polish. I hope you   ♥ this polish as much as I do! Isn't is lovely?! Sorry for lack there of posts. I was under the weather but I am feeling great once again. Today I have to show you, Orly Fowl Play. I, like most lacquer heads had to have this polish when it first came out. I was not in luck finding it at Ulta as it was always sold-out every time I went there. I actually received this as a gift from the boyfriend for Christmas. I got it in the 3 pack set with Lucky Duck, Sweet Peacock, and Fowl Play. I have yet to try the rest but I love fowl play. I had it on a total of 5 days which in my world is A LOT! Fowl Play is a eggplant jelly polish with silver and blue glitter as well as some flakies! The flakies have the same color change effect as Essie Shine of the Times or Finger Paints Flashy. I am in love! Be sure to enter my Giveaway ! I added a few things to the Blog Sale last week!

So this is a polish I purchased from Claire because my mom is in love with shatter and I thought she would like this polish a lot. I of course ordered a bottle for myself and have tested it out quite a few times but finally found an application I liked. I layered this polish over my Nails Inc. mani. The Nails Inc. is not why I had so much trouble with this Croc Effects polish I think it is all due to the consistency of the polish.    First off the polish has hardly any smell which is weird. The polish is very finicky and likes to be layered over wet polish which is where I had issues. I layered it over several different colored polishes and they all cracked different and none of them resembled crocodile. I then had a stroke of genius and decided to try it on my swatch wheel with a regular old clear polish. I actually chose Wet n Wild clear nail protector and layered a super thin layer of Barry M. Croc Effects. I waited about 45 seconds to layer my Croc Effects over the clea...

So my parents already got me a Christmas gift but my mom just couldn't resist herself and sent some new polishes for me. I was so excited to get them and boy did it take me forever to unwrap them all. My mom lives about 4 hours away so I don't get to see her that often and she was going to come see me and bring the polishes but we changed plans. Instead me and the BF are going to go see her in a month or so. Anyways on to what she sent me! Ahh look at all those beauties! I have yet another polish I got for Christmas to show you today. I have Nails Inc. Trafalgar Square which is a chrome/black magnetic polish. I was a tad bit apprehensive to use the magnetic polish because I did not know if I would be able to do it right. I have to say that Nails Inc. makes it idiot proof to mess up this magnetic application. For application I applied one coat of Trafalgar Square. Then one nail  at a time I added a second coat and held the magnet on my finger for about 20 seconds. The magnet is actually in the cap of the polish that pulls off so you can use it better. As you can see in the photo above the bottle of polish looks like a normal bottle but below I will show it with the cap on. The Magnet is on top of the bottle and that lip you see on the top is to help you when you put the magnet up to your nail. The lip on the top acts as a rest for your nail base and allows you to get the magnet close without touching the nail. The Magnet! It makes a wavy pattern....

Here is one of the beauties I received from my BF for Christmas. I also received Glitter Gal Lizard Belly which I will post soon. He knew I really wanted these two polishes and ordered them from Llarowe for me! I was beyond excited to open them on Christmas. Now I have heard from fellow bloggers that this polish is very sheer. The bottle of polish itself is so small so I decided to layer it over a more opaque color to cut down on the coats I would need. I did not have any colors that were close to the very light gray that Light As A Feather is but chose OPI Skull & Glossbones because I thought it would layer nicely. I think this polish is marketed as a white holo but white it is not. The holo is weaker in Light As A Feather as in Lizard Belly. Light As A Feather is a very demure holo but beautiful nonetheless. I am anxious to see the new Glitter Gals in the larger bottles but I am not excited for the prices.
